What You’ll Do:
As Director, Social Media at BRUNT, you’ll own the strategy and programming across our owned social media channels with the goal of creating compelling stories to efficiently drive brand awareness and build a healthy funnel of follower acquisition.
Reporting to the Chief Brand Officer, you’ll play a crucial role in growing BRUNT Workwear brand affinity and ensuring the company’s brand identity remains consistent through all social media endeavors.
In addition, this role will also lead special projects for our CEO, Eric Girouard where his personal social media channels are involved.
How You’ll Do It:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company's brand vision and goals.
- Drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth through innovative and data-driven social media campaigns.
- Support the CEO's social media presence by creating and curating high-quality, engaging content.
- Work closely with the product, sales, and customer experience teams to integrate social media efforts with broader business objectives.
Channel Management
- Lead organic owned media channels, including social (e.g. Meta, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) and emerging mediums, ensuring consistent voice and brand representation.
- Develop a clear POV on the purpose of each distribution channel as a driver of larger business goals, and establish corresponding goals.
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, implementing them to enhance our social media performance.
- Own the BRUNT social programming calendar and build a content planning process that ensures appropriate timing, alignment to tentpole moments, coverage of brand opportunities, and resource allocation. Evaluate content slate and develop framework for refining the content playbook.
Content Creation & Curation
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to produce compelling, visually appealing content.
- Develop a mix of content types, including posts, stories, videos, and live streams, to drive engagement and audience growth.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and resonates with the target audience.
- Support product launches and promotional events through strategic social media campaigns.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance using analytics tools.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data to optimize future campaigns.
- Track and measure KPIs, including follower growth, engagement rates, and conversion metrics.
Community Engagement:
- Build and nurture an engaged community across all social media platforms.
- Oversee our approach to comments, messages, and mentions ensuring we’re both thoughtful and timely with customer interactions.
- Foster relationships with influencers, brand advocates, and key stakeholders.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in social media management, with a focus on consumer and product brands.
- Demonstrated experience in building and scaling brands on Meta, X, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous start-up experience is highly desirable.
- Travel as required (up to 20%) to support the CEO's social media presence at events, conferences, and other engagements. Capture and share live content, ensuring timely and high-quality coverage of key events.
