Since our founding in 1986, we have graded and authenticated millions of items. We employ more than 1,700 people across our headquarters in Santa Ana and offices in Jersey City, Seattle, Hong Kong, Paris, Shanghai, and Tokyo.

We’re looking for a Collections Clerk to join our Accounting team. The position involves applying customer payments to customer orders in a high volume, fast-paced environment. Critical skills include familiarity with accounts receivable processes, troubleshooting skills, and interfacing with operating (non-financial) departments.

This role reports to the Accounts Receivable Manager and will work in our Santa Ana, CA office.

What You’ll Do:

  • Accurate and timely application of customer payments.
  • Contact customers regarding overdue accounts and determine reasons for non-payment
  • Preparing daily bank deposits by use of a scanner and subsequently posting to the appropriate customer order.
  • Processing customer credit card payments in accordance with company policy.
  • Payment reconciliation to ensure proper application.
  • File Maintenance to include scanning of documents to electronic files.
  • Troubleshooting problem orders and accounting holds.
  • Create, maintain/track, and close show order projects.
  • Securing customer short payments by contacting the customer via email and phone.
  • Occasional travel required.

Who You Are:

  • 2+ years of collections, cash application, accounts receivable or related experience in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask & work independently
  • Organized, solution-oriented, with excellent time management skills.
  • A proven team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills to include MS Excel & Outlook.
  • Positive Attitude
  • Accounting Certificate or Associate Degree preferred.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Hourly Range:

The hourly range for this position is $22-$26. Actual compensation in this range will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience, and skill set.
