Quality has a cost, and teams pay it over time: hours spent writing and maintaining tests, slow pipelines, flaky results that erode trust, and defects that surface after release. AI coding tools are raising the stakes, with more code shipping faster and a growing share of it written by agents. We built Cypress to lower the cost of quality so it becomes a reliable part of delivery instead of a last-minute concern. The platform starts with the open source Cypress app, which developers and QA engineers use to write, run, and debug end-to-end and component tests directly in the browser. Cypress Cloud extends the app with what teams need to ship with confidence before release: Test Replay to debug failures without re-running them, flake detection, parallelization to shorten Continuous Integration (CI) runs, and Enterprise Reporting for visibility across every project and team. UI Coverage shows which parts of an application your tests actually exercise, and Cypress Accessibility reports accessibility issues from the tests teams already run, with no extra test code. AI runs through the platform wherever it removes real work. With cy.prompt, teams describe what they want to test in plain language and Cypress generates and maintains the steps. Cypress Studio uses AI to turn recorded interactions into working tests. And because teams increasingly work inside AI agents, Cypress meets them there: the Cypress Cloud MCP (Model Context Protocol) server gives agents such as Claude Code and Cursor direct access to test results, failure context, and Test Replay data, so an agent can diagnose and fix a failing test without a person copying logs between tools.
