Mission:
We are seeking a strategic and growth-oriented Regional Vice President, Healthcare & Life Sciences (HLS) - with a specific focus on our Life Sciences sub vertical to lead a
high-performing enterprise sales organization across North America. This leader will be responsible for driving new logo acquisition, expanding strategic accounts, and accelerating
adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform across leading med-tech and life sciences organizations.
This is a critical leadership role focused on helping customers unlock the power of data and AI to improve patient outcomes, accelerate drug discovery, optimize clinical operations, and
drive commercial transformation. You will report to the Vice President of Healthcare & Life Sciences GTM.
What You Will Do:
- Build, inspire, and lead a team of high-performing Directors and Enterprise Account Executives focused on driving growth across HLS and Pharma
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer obsession, centered on delivering measurable business and clinical impact
- Develop trusted executive relationships with healthcare and life sciences leaders (CIO, CDO, CTO, R&D, Commercial) to position Databricks as a strategic partner
- Drive adoption of the Databricks platform across key use cases such as clinical data unification, real-world evidence, drug discovery, AI-driven diagnostics, and commercial analytics
- Partner closely with field engineering, product, and industry teams to deliver differentiated solutions aligned to HLS and Pharma priorities
- Build and scale ecosystem partnerships (GSIs, ISVs, healthcare data partners) to expand reach and accelerate growth
- Lead operational excellence across the region, including forecasting accuracy, pipeline development, and consistent execution of sales processes
- Champion technical and industry fluency across your team, ensuring strong understanding of evolving data, AI, and regulatory landscapes (HIPAA, GxP, etc.)
What We Look For
- Proven experience leading high-performing enterprise sales teams within cloud, SaaS, or data & AI—ideally within Healthcare, Life Sciences, or Pharma
- Strong track record of exceeding revenue targets and scaling teams in complex, regulated industries
- Deep understanding of value-based selling and structured methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger, Command of the Message)
- Ability to engage and influence C-suite stakeholders across both technical and business functions
- Experience driving growth through partner ecosystems and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to connect data and AI capabilities to real-world healthcare and life sciences outcomes
- Familiarity with usage-based and consumption-driven sales models
