How you’ll make an impact
We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to elevate our data exploration capabilities, empowering users to deepen their understanding of their data and derive meaningful insights from it. Exploration is probably the most striking part of the data-to-insights process. Let’s face it - there’s nothing more exciting than building a beautiful fit-for-purpose data visualisation. And when it comes to presenting data, nothing speaks louder and clearer than a chart!
This position is either onsite from Paris, London, Berlin and Amsterdam or remote from these countries.
Some expected outcomes for this role:
Within a fun and passionate team notably responsible for data exploration features, you will collaborate with our Product Manager, UX Designer, and QA to brainstorm, refine specifications, implement, and test high-quality code.

All of this in a safe place to work where all ideas and suggestions are welcome and taken into account, and where everyone's involvement is obvious. Our current tech lineup includes Javascript, AngularJS, Angular, ECharts, and D3.js on the frontend, paired with Java and Spring on the backend.
What you need to be successful
- Experience in software engineering
- A desire to unravel the mysteries of building captivating charts out of row data
- A customer-centric mindset. You are eager to understand user needs and product usage
- An ability to navigate both frontend and backend development effortlessly. Or you lean toward the backend while still comfortable with frontend
- A preference for pragmatism over dogmatism, smart solutions over unnecessary complexity
- Eyes that can detect misaligned pixels
- Humility and kindness. You don't hesitate to ask questions when you don't know and treat your colleagues with respect, kindness, and honesty
- Being interested in data visualization tools (think Tableau, PowerBI…) is a nice to have for this role
