How you’ll make an impact
As part of the Cloud Engineering team, you will directly contribute to the success of Dataiku's fully-managed SaaS offering. Your work will enable Dataiku’s enterprise customers to use the platform seamlessly at scale, improving both operational efficiency and user satisfaction. By enhancing the reliability and scalability of the platform, you’ll help create a robust infrastructure that supports our mission of bringing Everyday AI to businesses of all sizes.
Key Responsibilities
- Build New Features: Contribute to the launchpad, a SaaS portal for creating and managing Dataiku instances. You’ll develop new backend and frontend features to improve the user experience, with a focus on enterprise customers.
- Enhance Scalability & Reliability: Improve the reliability and scalability of our platform by working on custom Kubernetes operators designed to manage the lifecycle of Dataiku instances (installation, configuration, and upgrades).
- Cloud Infrastructure: Get hands-on experience with running Dataiku in the cloud, ensuring that our SaaS offering can scale to support large volumes of users.
- Production Deployment: Deploy new features into production weekly, ensuring smooth rollouts and quick iterations.
- Codebase & Process Improvement: Regularly suggest and implement improvements to our codebase, development processes, and cloud systems.
What you’ll need to be successful
- Humility and kindness. You don't hesitate to ask questions when you don't know and treat your colleagues with respect, kindness, and honesty
- Fluent in English
- An interest in navigating both frontend and backend development
What does the hiring process look like?
- Initial call with a member of our Technical Recruiting team (30 min) with a presentation of various internship subjects
- Technical Assessment to show your skills (Take-home test)
- Discussion with the Technical Recruiter to select the internship topic (15-30 min)
- Video call with your future manager (1h)
