As the Field Marketing Manager – ASEAN, you will lead the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives that drive pipeline growth, increase brand awareness, and establish Dataiku’s influence within the region. You will work closely with our sales team (Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, and Business Development Representatives) as well as global marketing functions to align regional efforts with overarching business objectives.
This role requires a seasoned marketing professional with a strong background in B2B marketing, a deep understanding of the ASEAN market, and the ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Success Metrics
- Pipeline Growth: Demonstrate measurable impact on pipeline creation, acceleration, and revenue contribution.
- Brand Awareness: Expand Dataiku’s visibility and influence within the ASEAN market.
- Campaign Effectiveness: Track and analyze the performance of marketing initiatives to optimize ROI and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute the field marketing strategy for the ASEAN region in alignment with global and regional marketing goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with the sales leaders and the AE team to market to target accounts and create account-based marketing (ABM) programs to support account plans
Pipeline Generation & Brand Awareness
- Event Management:
- Develop and execute high-impact regional events, including tradeshows, conferences, workshops, customer meetups, webinars, as well as Dataiku’s official Summit.
- Oversee Dataiku’s participation in third-party industry events, ensuring strong ROI and brand visibility.
- Coordinate logistics, vendor management, and promotional activities to ensure successful event execution.
- Paid Campaigns:
- Partner with global marketing teams to strategize and implement targeted paid campaigns optimized for the ASEAN audience.
- Leverage digital and offline marketing channels to drive engagement and pipeline growth.
- Integrated Campaign Development and Execution:
- Design and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, email marketing, content syndication, webinars, social media and content marketing.
- Localize global campaigns to resonate with the ASEAN market, ensuring cultural and language appropriateness.
- Account-Based Marketing (ABM):
- Design and implement ABM strategies to support high-value accounts in close collaboration with the sales team.
- Partner Marketing and Alliances:
- Work with strategic partners, resellers and alliances to co-market solutions and drive joint go-to-market initiatives to drive pipeline growth
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key influencers and industry organizations in the region.
- Manage the MDF Program and claims process
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Measure and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and activities, providing regular reports to stakeholders.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize marketing programs and improve ROI.
Content & Thought Leadership
- Localized Content Creation:
- Develop content that resonates with the region’s audience, including ASEAN customer stories and tailored messaging.
- Collaborate with the global content team to adapt thought leadership pieces to the regional context.
Public Relations (PR)
- Work with a PR agency to develop and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers in the technology and data analytics space.
- Work with corporate PR teams and external PR agencies to craft compelling press releases, bylines, and media pitches.
- Proactively identify opportunities for thought leadership and executive visibility, including interviews, guest articles, and speaking engagements.
- Monitor media coverage and manage press clipping and reporting processes.
Analyst Relations (AR)
- Build and nurture relationships with industry analysts, ensuring Dataiku is top-of-mind for key reports and evaluations.
- Coordinate and manage analyst briefings, inquiries, and research engagements.
- Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts to present compelling presentations, case studies, and collateral tailored for analysts.
- Track industry trends and feedback from analysts to inform marketing strategies and product positioning.
Budget Management
- Manage the regional marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize impact.
- Track and report on marketing expenditures, ensuring alignment with budgetary guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Experience : 8 - 10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS field marketing, preferably in the technology sector.
- Strategic & Tactical Execution : Proven track record of developing ASEAN marketing strategies and executing successful marketing campaigns and events in ASEAN.
- Regional Expertise : Strong understanding of the ASEAN market, including cultural nuances and business practices.
- Multi-Tasker : Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Marketing Skills : Expertise in managing end-to-end marketing campaigns, ABM, content development, conference production, event management & execution
- Results-Driven: Demonstrated ability to measure and optimize marketing performance based on data-driven insights.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Strong ability to lead cross-functional projects, influence stakeholders, and drive alignment across teams.
- Communication & Collaboration : Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Chinese, Bahasa is a plus. Strong interpersonal and key stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external partners.
- Learning & Innovation : Must be willing to learn and be Certified on Dataiku products and continuously learn new AI technologies
- Martech : Proficiency in digital martech tools and platforms, such as google suite, hubspot, salesforce, and tableau.
- Location : Must be based in Singapore with ability to travel within the Asia Pacific region for regional meetings and Europe or Americas once a year.
