Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team in a hybrid working environment, with two set in-office days per week. The accountant will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, ensure accurate financial records and support month-end and year-end closing processes. This role is ideal for a newly qualified accountant, or someone working for their qualifications.
Dataiku is part of a US incorporated group and this role would provide exposure to USGAAP and other European accounting standards, along with experience of entities in various EMEA locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounting operations, including data entry and account reconciliations
- Prepare and post journal entries under supervision
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Support month-end and year-end financial close activities
- Support preparation of local GAAP financial statements
- Help ensure compliance with accounting standards (both US GAAP and local GAAP), company policies and regulatory requirements
- Assist with audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed
- Maintain organised and up-to-date financial records
- Other Ad Hoc tasks as required
Hybrid Work Expectations
- Work 2 days per week in the office and 3 days remotely
- Attend in-person training and key meetings on office days
- Maintain a suitable home workspace with reliable internet access
- Communicate clearly and consistently with the finance team
- Use company-approved tools for collaboration and document management
Skills & Qualifications
Required:
- Understanding of accounting principals and financial reporting
- ACCA, ACA or CIMA newly qualified or final year of training
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisation and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Netsuite experience
