How you’ll make an impact:

We’re building something new—and we’re looking for someone who’s excited to help shape it.

As an Employee Relations Partner, Americas, you’ll report directly to our Global Employee Relations Lead and play a critical role in establishing and scaling our ER function across the region. This is a new capability at Dataiku, and you’ll have the opportunity to build processes from the ground up while guiding our people managers to become stronger, more capable first-line HR leaders for their teams.

You’ll serve as a key partner to business leaders and People Business Partners, providing expert guidance on complex and sensitive ER matters across the Americas. You’ll help ensure we’re managing risk thoughtfully, staying compliant, and fostering a fair, respectful, and values-aligned workplace.

What you’ll do:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and People Business Partners on a wide range of employee relations topics, including investigations, performance management, policy interpretation, workplace conflicts, and organizational change.
  • Own and manage complex ER cases across the Americas, ensuring issues are handled with consistency, care, and alignment to local laws and internal policies.
  • Educate and support line managers on how to be effective people leaders—helping them build confidence and capability in addressing performance, conduct, and culture issues early and proactively.
  • Partner closely with Legal to manage employment risk and support litigation or pre-litigation matters.
  • Monitor evolving employment legislation across U.S., Canada, and LATAM markets and ensure our policies and practices are updated accordingly.
  • Analyze ER case trends and develop actionable insights that improve the employee experience and inform organizational decisions.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of scalable ER programs, tools, and training across the region.
  • Champion a positive, inclusive employee experience by modeling fairness, consistency, and alignment with Dataiku’s values.

What you’ll bring:

  • 6+ years of experience in employee relations, HR, or employment law—ideally within a fast-moving, global organization.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex ER issues across the Americas, with a strong understanding of U.S. employment law; experience in LATAM is a plus.
  • Experience advising and coaching business leaders on sensitive people matters.
  • Strong judgment and a pragmatic, business-minded approach to ER challenges.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • High integrity and discretion when handling confidential matters.

What will make you stand out:

  • Experience launching or helping build a new ER function or COE.
  • Experience delivering training and enablement for managers on ER-related topics.
  • Background working in a global, matrixed tech or SaaS organization.
  • HR or employment law certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR).
