Business Development Representative — Italy

We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our growing team focused on the Italian market. As a Business Development Representative, you are responsible for driving Dataiku's business development activities across Italy. You must have the ability to understand the sales development process and technology stack and ensure its adoption. We are looking for a results-driven, hands-on self-starter, motivated to constantly improve and optimize the process to drive performance.

Location: This role is focused on the Italian market. You can be based in our Milan office, or within our Mediterranean hubs in Madrid or Paris.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • Lead Management: Manage a large volume of daily inbound and outbound leads within the Italian territory—connecting via phone, email, and LinkedIn to qualify them.
  • Strategic Campaigns: Engage with our Sales and Marketing executives to design, research, and execute outbound vertical and geographical campaigns to grow the sales pipeline in Italy.
  • Enterprise Collaboration: Work closely with our Account Executives to prospect and help close large enterprise deals within the Italian "Fortune 500" equivalent.
  • Nurture: Educate and nurture early-phase prospects for potential future opportunities.
  • Domain Expertise: Demonstrate knowledge of Dataiku and its value proposition to converse with data and business leaders in Italy across industries such as Manufacturing, Banking, Fashion/Retail, and Energy.
  • Optimization: Analyze and report on your weekly activities to identify potential optimizations for the Southern EMEA market.

What You'll Need To Be Successful

  • Language Mastery: Native-level fluency in Italian (verbal and written) is essential.
  • The Multilingual Edge: Proficiency in French and/or Spanish is highly preferred and will be a major asset for collaborating across our South EMEA offices.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Experience: Relevant experience and proven success in sales or business development within the software/tech industry or a high-growth startup.
  • Organization: Able to demonstrate strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Data-Driven: Highly analytical and understand the importance of tracking and reporting on your outreach.
  • Curiosity: Deeply interested in innovative topics like Data Science, Predictive Analytics, and Generative AI.
