About the Role:
Equip is looking for an Exposure and Response Prevention/Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Specialist to join us as a 1099 contractor. This role would need to be available to work up to 15 hours a week for 3 months, with the potential to extend and/or convert to full-time. This person will be working with Equip eating disorder therapists and the broader provider team on cases where OCD symptoms appear using the OCI screener.
The ERP/OCD Specialist will use the CY-BOCS and Y-BOCS assessment and functional assessment to understand better the severity and typology of OCD and its impact on the patient and their eating disorder. The ERP/OCD Specialist will treat the patient for time-limited ERP treatment in a fully virtual setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete documentation in the organization's EMR and communicate with the team via email or appropriate channels.
  • Meet with assigned patients until treatment is complete or recommendations are made.
  • Meet with the team for consultation or treatment purposes.
  • Be the secondary therapist on the team and solely focus on the OCD and, at times, co-treat eating disorder symptoms that cross with eating disorder behaviors.

Job Requirements:

  • Active, unrestricted, and independent license to practice psychotherapy. Preferred licensed Psychologist with PsycPact status for national licensure.
  • At least a master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family, doctorate, etc.
  • At least three years of treating OCD in adolescent and adult patients in person or virtually is highly preferred.
  • Provide proof of certification or exposure and response prevention training from a reputable trainer or organization.
  • Demonstration of skills through case presentation, including OCD and eating disorder patients and their full cycle of treatment using ERP.
Physical Demands
Work is performed 100% from home with no requirement to travel. This is a stationary position that requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards as well as to talk or hear by telephone. Sit or stand as needed.
