What You Will Do:

  • Be the point of contact for a minimum of 4 Store Directors, and 50+ managers/supervisors at 4+ locations
  • Assist with the new hire onboarding process by conducting onboarding, and assisting stores in completing the onboarding process timely and correctly
  • Process employees’ inquiries and respond in a timely manner
  • Administrative duties, including upkeep of employee records and documentation
  • Assign mandatory training (e.g. harassment prevention training) in a timely manner
  • Be the secondary contact for employees out on LOA, employee concerns etc.
  • Be the secondary contact for employees on Workers Comp leave, and keep track of their next appointments
  • Track performance evaluations and follow up with management to have them completed in a timely manner
  • Answer employee phone calls, and direct them to the appropriate person/take down their concern
  • Assist our management team on their inquires, and give the best guidance that aligns to Company standards and culture, and ensure compliance
  • Assist with recruitment
  • Perceptive nature, careful monitoring of working conditions to ensure legal compliance
  • Consistent audits to ensure Company policies, standards and procedures are being upheld
  • Additional duties as assigned

What You Will Bring:

  • Be detail oriented, organized, and able to maintain a high level of confidentiality in all matters related to the position
  • Experience with standard HRIS and basic knowledge of an ATS
  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • Good understanding of State and Federal wage and hour laws
  • Have a professional demeanor and excellent communication skills
  • Have a strong goal orientation, self-motivation, and independent "hands on" worker
  • Have a solid knowledge of employment principles, procedures, and laws/regulations
  • BA/BS Degree in business or related field preferred but not required
  • Bilingual English/ Spanish required
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
  • Availability to work in office 5 days a week, Monday through Friday
  • Experience working with a PEO a plus, not required
