Join us! The GoFundMe team is seeking a strategic and highly organized Principal Marketing (GGTM) Program Manager to serve as a key partner to the Chief Marketing and Corporate Affairs Officer and the broader GGTM Leadership Team. This role is critical in scaling our Go-To-Market function, driving operational excellence, and aligning cross-functional initiatives with company-wide priorities.
More than an executor, the ideal candidate is a builder—someone who thrives in ambiguity and is passionate about shaping systems, processes, and ways of working that foster alignment and velocity. They bring a strong track record of program leadership, influence across levels, and the ability to bridge strategy with execution in fast-paced, matrixed environments.
The Job:
Strategic Planning & Leadership
-
Partner with GGTM leadership to develop and drive key initiatives that align with broader company goals and priorities.
-
Lead quarterly and annual planning processes, ensuring focus, accountability, and alignment across the GGTM team.
-
Facilitate monthly GGTM leadership meetings to drive strategic prioritization and cross-functional alignment. Identify and document key blockers and cross-functional challenges, enabling the Chief Marketing and Corporate Affairs Officer to step in with the right context and data to help unblock and accelerate progress across the team.
Program Execution
-
Manage campaign stakeholders to ensure visibility, prioritization, and successful delivery across initiatives.
-
Personally lead the execution of select high impact cross-functional programs across product marketing, creative, demand generation, brand, comms, events, and sales enablement.
-
Coordinate timelines, dependencies, and resources; proactively mitigate risks and unblock challenges to ensure program continuity and impact.
-
Standardize and scale best practices for project and program management across GGTM, while mentoring teams on planning and prioritization.
-
Produce accurate and timely communication on program status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Operations & Enablement
-
Define and implement end-to-end processes for brief creation, approval workflows, and project governance to improve clarity, velocity, and success.
-
Manage program interdependencies and remove roadblocks to ensure milestones are hit and outcomes delivered on time and at high quality.
-
Establish and maintain a strong operational rhythm through structured cadences and communication channels across stakeholders.
- Drive adoption and evolution of project management tools (e.g., ClickUp) to enhance visibility, accountability, and resourcing.
Process & Tooling Optimization
-
Build scalable onboarding and documentation systems (e.g., ClickUp hubs, SOPs, internal wikis) to support team clarity and ramp-up.
- Identify and implement operational improvements across GGTM’s workflows, tools, and team structures to streamline collaboration and increase effectiveness.
You:
-
8+ years of experience in marketing operations, program management, or a related function in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to lead and scale complex, cross-functional marketing and communications programs.
- Experienced people manager who builds and empowers high-performing teams while fostering collaboration across functions.
-
Exceptional communication and influence skills across all levels, including senior executives and external partners.
-
Analytical, strategic, and solutions-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and prioritization skills.
-
Comfortable operating in ambiguity, managing multiple priorities, and aligning stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
- Demonstrated ownership mentality with a track record of driving results through systems, structure, and accountability.
Preferred:
-
PMP, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent program management certifications.
-
Familiarity with marketing tech stacks, campaign operations, and performance measurement practices.
-
Experience working directly with executive leadership or in an operational partner role to a CMO or marketing leader.
-
Experience managing agency and external partner collaboration across brand, digital, and performance initiatives.
