About the Role

Hello Heart is growing rapidly and is hiring a Vice President, Corporate Controller to lead our global accounting function during a period of scale and operational complexity. Reporting into our Chief Financial Officer, you will own the worldwide record-to-report cycle and ensure accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting across the business.

In this role, you will build and develop a high-performing accounting organization while strengthening systems, controls, and processes to support growth. You are a hands-on people leader who thrives in fast-moving environments and brings rigor, structure, and partnership to everything you do.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and scale the global accounting organization, including hiring, coaching, and performance management
  • Own the worldwide record-to-report cycle, including monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
  • Establish, maintain, and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and best practices in accordance with US GAAP
  • Oversee general ledger, consolidations, financial reporting, and technical accounting matters
  • Ensure timely and accurate local and international tax and regulatory filings and compliance
  • Design, implement, and maintain strong internal controls across bookings, revenue, expenses, and cash
  • Partner with external auditors to lead annual audits and other assurance activities
  • Collaborate with Legal and Human Resources to ensure accuracy and integrity of the capitalization table and equity accounting
  • Drive continuous process improvement through systems optimization, workflow simplification, and automation
  • Serve as a trusted cross-functional partner to Finance, Legal, People, and executive leadership

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience
  • CPA required, with prior Big 4 experience
  • Required experience with accounting systems, financial close, and internal controls in a high-growth environment
  • Required knowledge of US GAAP and regulatory compliance for healthcare, SaaS, or technology companies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred
  • Proven experience designing and implementing accounting policies and scalable processes
  • Strong systems aptitude with a demonstrated ability to improve workflows and operating efficiency
  • Experience as a public company controller and prior IPO experience are strong pluses
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence across all levels of the organization
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and operate with urgency in a fast-paced environment

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $240,000.00 to $260,000.00. Salary ranges are determined by role and level. Compensation is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
