This position will be based out of our NYC with a hybrid in office/wfh schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Keep track of outstanding AR (statement of accounts, invoices, credit notes, charge backs, etc.) and monitor cash collection
• Responsible for reconciling AR accounts and reporting AR on regular basis
• Responsible for unapplied cash: monitor total amounts and timing, report to management on a weekly basis.
• Supervise refunds to customer and update management on a weekly basis. -Make internal research on authenticities of payments.
• Investigate payments which are unidentified or missing information. -Handle improvement plans in the application process of cash.
• Timely cash application.
• Complete consignment reconciliations.
• Monitor record keeping, documentation, and book keeping.
• Other duties as outlined by management.

Requirements:

• Degree in Business Administration or the equivalent.
• Proficiency in accounting, and the ability to help on accounting functions.
• Enthusiasm and involvement in improving business processes.
• Ability to stay focused on tasks and meet deadlines.
• Problem solver.
• Ability to get along with people.
• Eloquence in communication, both verbal and written and comfort interacting with people at all levels within the business.
• Ability to make good presentations, analyze reports, and respond to accounting issues.
• Computer savvy and strong knowledge of Microsoft office, especially excel.
• Ability to work without supervision.

The base compensation for this position ranges from $75-85k. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon the candidates' relevant skills and experience.
