About The Opportunity
We are looking for a Product Development, Wovens Intern to join the KHAITE team. This internship will be for a 3-month term. This role will be based out of the NYC HQ offices. This role will collaborate closely with the design, development, production teams to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of fit, quality, and construction in the luxury space. You will be assisting the PD team in managing the PD process, fittings, preparing sample packages, and maintaining accurate flow of product details to all relevant parties and in PLM system.

You will be assisting the PD team in managing the PD process, fittings, preparing sample packages, and maintaining accurate flow of product details to all relevant parties and in PLM system.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate sample launches, which involves preparing cut tickets, corrected patterns, sew-guides, mock-ups to execute the sample package preparations
- Visit local factories / vendors daily for sample transportation & check in on development
- Launch mock-ups, pattern plot outs, fabric fusing, etc.
- Update digital design boards, WIPs.
- Maintain updates in PLM system - RLM (style entries, bom, cut tickets)
- Organize sample racks for fittings as well as maintain working space
Interpersonal Skills:
- Exceptional attention to details and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and a sense of urgency
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience in product development in woven’s RTW category
- New York domestic development experience
- Proficiency in PLM, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in RLM is a plus.
