We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Senior Manager of Retention Marketing to lead customer retention initiatives across email, SMS, loyalty, and lifecycle marketing. Reporting directly to the VP of E-commerce, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer lifetime value, loyalty, and revenue growth for our fast-growing beauty brand.
What You'll Contribute:
- Develop, execute, and optimize comprehensive retention strategies across email, SMS, loyalty, and site marketing to drive repeat purchase, increase customer lifetime value, and reduce churn.
- Own and continuously evolve the content calendar for Kosas.com, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and marketing initiatives.
- Define, monitor, and drive key retention KPIs including repeat purchase rate, customer lifetime value (LTV), customer churn, email/SMS revenue, engagement metrics, and list growth.
- Lead end-to-end development of email, SMS, and lifecycle campaigns including strategic ideation, creative briefing, segmentation, building, testing, scheduling, and optimization.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on email and SMS best practices, utilizing analytics and insights to develop and refine high-performing, targeted campaigns.
- Oversee weekly, monthly, and quarterly retention and CRM reporting; translate insights into actionable strategies and share key learnings across cross-functional teams.
- Create and implement rigorous A/B testing plans to continuously enhance campaign performance, personalization, and customer engagement.
- Collaborate closely with Creative, E-commerce/Growth and Brand teams to ensure cohesive, compelling, and brand-aligned retention marketing efforts.
- Identify, recommend, and implement process and workflow optimizations within the retention team and cross-functionally.
- Maintain strong relationships with external partners and vendors to leverage emerging trends and technologies in retention marketing.
What You'll Bring:
- 6+ years of experience in retention, lifecycle, email, or CRM marketing with a proven track record of driving customer retention and revenue growth.
- Deep expertise in customer segmentation, lifecycle marketing, personalization strategies, and customer journey mapping.
- Proven success managing and optimizing email and SMS campaigns with hands-on experience in platforms like Klaviyo, Postscript, or similar.
- Strong analytical skills; proficiency in E-commerce analytics tools and platforms.
- Previous experience in beauty, fashion, or a related consumer products industry strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Shopify is a plus.

The range of base salary for this full-time position is between $95,000 - $130,000, not including discretionary bonus and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as experience, skillset, education, and work location.
