Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Impact Project Manager to lead and coordinate various social impact initiatives aimed at driving positive change within our community. The ideal candidate will be passionate about social justice, community development, and making a direct impact in people's lives. This role requires strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset to effectively engage stakeholders and drive impactful outcomes.

Your day to day will encompass coordinating monday tech school programming, event management across 20 different schools we will be running our program, outreach to partners, speakers, and different inspiration workshops. You will lead the project coordination end to end.

About The Role

  • Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of diverse social impact initiatives aimed at connecting underserved youth to the tech sector.
  • Coordinate educational programming, inspirational workshops, and training sessions across NYC schools.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or challenges, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with community partners, schools, and tech companies to facilitate collaboration and leverage resources for maximum impact.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure compliance with funding requirements and reporting obligations.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions, community forums, and workshops to gather input, foster dialogue, and promote community participation in social impact initiatives.
  • Evaluate project outcomes and impact, collect data and feedback, and prepare reports to measure progress against established goals and inform future decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social sciences, public administration, nonprofit management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, community development, or social impact roles, preferably in a tech sector philanthropy.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex projects from conception to completion, delivering measurable results and impact.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including staff, volunteers, community members, and external partners.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to social justice, equity, and inclusivity, with a deep understanding of systemic issues affecting underserved communities.
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a results-oriented approach and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, experience with monday.com a plus.
  • Startup mentality and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, work independently with minimal supervision, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Passion for social impact, empathy for others, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the world.

For New York City-based hires only: Compensation Range: $82,000 - $96,000 base salary, subject to standard withholding and applicable taxes. In addition to base salary, the role includes opportunity to receive and/or earn a discretionary bonus and/or equity based on Company’s plans and in accordance with Company’s policies. Compensation finally awarded to the candidate will be commensurate with the candidate’s skills and experience. Compensation ranges for candidates in locations outside of New York City may differ based on the cost of labor and such additional factors for such other locations
