Description
We are monday.com, a global software company transforming how businesses run. Our product suite can adapt to the needs of diverse industries and use cases within one powerful platform, empowering ~245,000 customers worldwide to reimagine how work gets done, drive greater efficiency, and scale like never before.
With over 2,500 employees across the globe, we grow by prioritizing transparency and knowledge sharing. We care about the impact you make, not the hours you clock, so we encourage initiative, ownership, and fresh thinking. We back our people with flexible work, wellness and mental health support, and a work environment built on collaboration.
As a Product Group Lead for Product Foundations, you’ll own the core building blocks that power every monday.com product - ensuring our platform remains resilient, scalable, secure, and AI-ready. You’ll drive strategy and execution across foundational domains like search-as-a-platform, contextual data layer, activity log, service resilience, and AI data governance, setting the stage for monday.com’s next decade of growth.
This is a highly technical, strategic role where you’ll set the vision, and lead senior product managers, and partner with engineering to create the infrastructure and capabilities that enable every product team at monday.com to build faster, safer, and at scale.
The role is based in our Warsaw office - established in 2022, it is a growing hub for engineers who love solving impactful problems. Teams here work on a broad range of challenges that push the boundaries of our products and infrastructure.
About The Role
- Set the vision & strategy for monday.com’s cross-platform capabilities - from the contextual data layer that powers AI-driven insights, to platform-wide services like search, activity logging, and service resilience, ensuring the foundations are scalable, secure, and ready for future growth.
- Lead & grow a high-performing team of senior PMs, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and impact.
- Deliver resilient systems: predictive auto-healing, reduced downtime, and frictionless scaling for 100B+ events.
- Advance data infrastructure: ensure zero-tolerance data loss, GDPR-compliance, and encryption at scale.
- Platformize experiences: deliver APIs, SDKs, and frameworks that empower engineering teams to innovate while maintaining compliance, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Accelerate AI readiness: build the contextual data layer that powers search, AI agents, insights, and recommendations.
- Partner cross-functionally with engineering, design, architecture, analysts, security, and business stakeholders to define clear OKRs and deliver foundations that unlock monday.com’s next phase of growth.
The Impact
This is a unique chance to shape the foundations of a global platform used by hundreds of thousands of customers daily. You’ll tackle some of the toughest challenges in SaaS - scaling to billions of events, delivering real-time resilience, and enabling AI-driven innovation. Your work will directly impact hundreds of engineers inside monday.com and millions of end users worldwide.
Requirements
- 8+ years of product management experience, including 4+ years leading technical or infrastructure-focused product teams in high-scale SaaS environments.
- Proven ability to build and scale core platform services (data pipelines, distributed systems, search, encryption, real-time infra).
- Experience designing for resilience at scale: guardrails, rate limiting, predictive scaling, auto-healing.
- Technically fluent and empathetic: you can dive deep with engineers and explain complex concepts simply to executives.
- A strategic builder: you set bold long-term vision and deliver iterative wins that show measurable impact.
- Data-driven leader: you rely on metrics, telemetry, and experimentation to guide decisions.
- Excellent communicator and influencer: trusted by engineers, peers, and executives alike.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, able to prioritize across multiple technical domains and set a clear vision for long-term platform evolution.
- Background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field strongly preferred.
