The Opportunity:

On's Lead Store Advisor based in New York City will help shape and define how the most exciting and fastest growing global running shoe brand in the world will operate On’s flagship store. This role is responsible for the store's overall performance and delivering exceptional customer service every day alongside the team. You will leverage your leadership skills and business savvy to help make On’s Flagship store a successful. This position will require the ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays based on business needs.

Your Mission:

  • Provides exceptional customer service including greeting customers as they walk in, responding to customer inquiries and creating solutions for customers by listening to their needs and improving engagement with our product
  • Supervises and mentors a team of up to 8 Retail Advisors by demonstrating an exceptional customer focused approach within daily work
  • Manages, implements and monitors daily zoning schedules
  • Opens and closes store following protocol
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of product technical information
  • Assists with inventory management, placing new orders and fill-in orders
  • Provides input and ideas on merchandising and engaging events for the store
  • Other duties as needed

Your Story:

  • High School Diploma; Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience within a retail work environment; 1 year in supervisory role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills and preferably previous experience with Square
  • Ability to take initiative, learn quickly, and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Eye for maintaining outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
  • Ability to multi-task, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business

Physical demands: This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, climbing stairs, and standing for consecutive hours. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
