About the Team

The B2B Marketing team is responsible for helping businesses understand, adopt, and get value from OpenAI’s products. B2B marketing is a major and growing priority for OpenAI as we scale our work with companies, developers, and institutions around the world.

About the Role

Within B2B Marketing, Demand Generation connects audience insights, content, events, paid media, lifecycle programs, and sales follow-through to qualified pipeline. The team works across Sales, Partnerships, Product Marketing, Communications, Creative, Web, RevOps, Analytics, and regional teams to build connected customer experiences and expand successful programs.

We’re looking for a Webinar & Digital Events Strategist to build webinars and digital experiences into a high-quality demand channel. Webinar content will be a core focus, from developing topics and narratives to shaping presentations and preparing speakers. You’ll own programs end to end, including audience targeting, promotion, registration, production, live delivery, follow-up, and performance optimization.

This is a hands-on role for a strategic operator who combines strong editorial judgment with program ownership to turn compelling content and audience engagement into qualified demand. You’ll partner closely with a Webinar Marketing Manager and production partners while remaining accountable for the full program and its results.

In this role, you will:

  • Own the webinar and digital-events program end to end, including content strategy, audience targeting, formats, calendar, promotional plans, production, delivery, investment choices, and success measures.

  • Design experiences for specific buyer needs and journey stages, with a clear value exchange, CTA, follow-up path, and relationship to broader campaigns.

  • Lead webinar content development, including topic selection, narratives, session outlines, presentations, and speaker preparation. Partner with Product Marketing, Content, customers, and subject-matter experts to make complex AI topics useful, concrete, and relevant to each audience.

  • Own execution from initial brief through live delivery, including timelines, production plans, speaker rehearsals, run of show, QA, and attendee experience, with support from the Webinar Marketing Manager and production partners.

  • Own audience segmentation, targeting, and integrated promotion across paid, email, web, social, SDR, Sales, and account-based channels. Develop messaging, registration and landing-page requirements, and reminder campaigns, and optimize to attract and convert the right audience.

  • Own post-event activation, including on-demand distribution, content repurposing, nurture, and sales follow-up. Establish qualification, routing, seller context, and follow-up expectations with RevOps and Sales so high-intent engagement receives timely and relevant action.

  • Define measurement across audience quality, registration-to-attendance, engagement, CTA behavior, qualified leads, account progression, pipeline, and content reuse.

  • Use performance and audience feedback to improve the portfolio, retire low-value formats, and create reusable programming and activation playbooks.

You might thrive in this role if you have:

  • 7+ years of experience across B2B webinars, digital events, content programming, or integrated campaigns, ideally in a complex or technical category, with direct ownership from content development and targeting through promotion, delivery, and measurement.

  • A track record of building programs that create qualified demand and pipeline—not only registrations, attendance, or satisfaction.

  • Strong understanding of audience strategy, programming, speaker development, digital attendee journeys, promotion, production, follow-up, and measurement.

  • Experience owning execution across complex cross-functional programs with executives, subject-matter experts, customers, agencies, technical partners, and sales teams, with clear accountability for timelines, quality, and results.

  • Excellent editorial judgment and hands-on experience developing webinar topics, narratives, session outlines, and presentations, and preparing speakers to deliver clear, compelling content.

  • Analytical discipline and comfort using cohort, engagement, conversion, and pipeline data to make portfolio decisions.

  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on problem solving in high-visibility, fast-moving environments.

  • Curiosity about AI-enabled experience design, content workflows, audience intelligence, and personalization.
