Field Marketing Specialist

Location: Hybrid Austin, TX or Portland, OR

We are a rapidly growing start-up determined to make the cloud a safer, more secure computing environment for our customers and the community at large. To support this mission, we are currently hiring a Field Marketing Specialist responsible for supporting the efforts of the field marketing team across various marketing disciplines.

The ideal candidate for this role is detail-oriented, willing to jump in where needed, and has a passion for learning more about marketing. What’s more, Orca’s culture is one of collaboration. This individual will work directly with the Director of Partner + Regional Field Marketing and with other marketing teams, including Product Marketing, Social Media, & partner marketing to support their strategies and execution.

As part of the job you’ll:

• Directly support the Field marketing team with event creation and execution.
• Project manage field/partner campaigns including calendar management, presentation support, and other tasks as needed
• Collaborate with Product Marketing to bring together exciting content for all events as needed.
• Utilize internal tools such as SFDC, Asana, Marketo, Gsuite, 6sense and more as needed
• Work to support key events, social media tactics- travel as required.
• General administration and support of team projects, initiatives, and calendaring/meetings.
• Formulate creative ideas and approaches to optimize cost effective pipeline acceleration activities across different prospect segments and personas - as well as help develop and execute
• Other duties may be assigned as needed and work demands.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 1+ years of relavent experience
• Detailed-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills as well as process improvement.
• Ability to communicate well at all levels of an organization via presentation, written, and spoken channels
• Customer Service minded professional- knows how to communicate internally with tact and professionalism. Understands competing priorities.
• The ideal candidate must also be tech savvy and have excellent computer skills including advanced GSuite (Gdrive, gsheets etc) as well as strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• This person will have demonstrated success managing multiple and diverse tasks/projects; strong attention to detail and outstanding follow-through;
• Must embrace working fast and have a mindset of continuous improvement
• Willingness to travel 25%
