About the Role:

As an R&D Technical Program Manager, you will be a critical driver of cross-functional execution at scale. Your role goes beyond traditional project management — you will lead and orchestrate complex technical programs across R&D, Product, Sales, and Customer Success while coaching agile teams, managing delivery pipelines, and maintaining tools like Jira and Confluence.
Your ability to influence without authority, create visibility across initiatives, and resolve friction points will be key to success. You’ll operate at both strategic and tactical levels — from defining KPIs and scalable processes to rolling up your sleeves and getting into the details to ensure projects move forward.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Program Success: Plan, execute, and monitor complex technical programs end-to-end. Own schedules, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Lead and Motivate Agile Teams: Guide engineering and product squads through agile best practices. Facilitate planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure Cross-Functional Alignment: Serve as the glue between R&D, Product Management, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success. Anticipate needs, surface blockers, and ensure clear ownership and accountability.
  • Tool Ownership & Administration: Act as the Jira and Confluence admin, build workflows, dashboards, filters, and automation to support scaling needs.
  • Process Builder: Define and improve process inside RnD, in between RnD, product and sales.
  • Insights & Analytics: Develop KPIs and dashboards to measure team velocity, quality, and delivery performance. Translate data into actionable insights.
  • Get Into the Details: You’re not afraid to get your hands dirty, whether it’s setting up Jira workflows, cleaning up project plans, or jumping into reporting. You do what it takes to move things forward.
About You:
  • 3-6 years of experience in program or project management roles within high-growth tech or SaaS companies.
  • Proven technical program management background - you understand engineering workflows, tools, dependencies, and delivery tradeoffs.
  • Deep familiarity with Atlassian Jira and Confluence - including workflow creation, scripting, automation, and reporting.
  • Agile coach experience - you’ve guided teams on Scrum, Kanban, and scaled agile principles.
  • Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills - able to inspire teams, gain alignment, and communicate risk early.
  • Comfortable writing JQL queries and using dashboards. ScriptRunner, Jira Automation, or Python scripting is a plus.
  • Organized, assertive, data-driven, and empathetic — a proactive problem solver who thrives in a dynamic environment.
  • You’re comfortable diving into small details and following through — you don’t just delegate, you deliver.
  • Degree in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
