Responsibilities
As a Product Specialist, you will be responsible for product operations with our global messaging products including international messaging and regulatory compliance. In this role, you will:
- Work closely with 3rd party vendors such as Twilio, MessageBird and others to provide ongoing messaging services to our clients
- Collaborate with various departments, ranging from Engineering to Product and Client Success to support our clients and actively contribute to ongoing product initiatives
- Triage help and support tickets, fully reproduce production issues, and communicate workarounds, escalating critical issues to key stakeholders
- Manage phone number registration, 10DLC compliance and other regulatory requirements
- Monitor messaging compliance and partner closely with Legal to stay up-to-date on developments in product compliance and privacy laws and regulations and advising the organization on any necessary changes to policies and procedures
- Own day-to-day management of messaging channel communication compliance activity, including review and submission of messaging to global partners
- Identify and analyze key metrics to track the performance of products and identify areas for improvement
- Perform manual testing of new messaging-related features being iteratively developed
- Monitor and report on messaging system activity for spikes, security risks and compliance issues
- Define, set, communicate, and train internal and external teams on both existing and new messaging policies (e.g. opt-in, opt-out, spam, etc)
- 1+ years of client or product support experience (e.g., testing, quality assurance, client success, technical support)
- Strong interest and aptitude for technology with a demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new software tools quickly
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to identify and document issues accurately, with excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, including presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and present data and ideas clearly to stakeholders
- Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle and familiarity with the different stages of software development and testing processes
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload effectively, and meet deadlines based on business needs
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform decision-making, identify trends, and evaluate processes for improvement
- Collaborative mindset and comfortable working with a diverse team of engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders
- Track record of ongoing learning and taking on new challenges
- Ability to work from our Scottsdale, AZ office
- Authorization to work in the United States
