Under general direction, assists in the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs in accordance with Essentia Health’s total rewards strategy. Researches, analyzes, and evaluates data using established evaluation systems and determines compensation ranges for positions. Administers Essentia Health’s compensation programs in accordance with established policies by preparing statistical analysis, data modeling, and reporting to ensure appropriate and compliant compensation standards. Provides support to others in the department by occasionally delegating tasks, reviewing work, and providing expertise or coaching. Implements, audits, and reviews salary structure and classification of incumbent individuals. Conducts and participates in compensation surveys. Leads various processes, projects, or project teams. Develops and writes position job descriptions. Improves, influences, and makes recommendations for department processes and compensation procedures. Provides support to Human Resource Business Partners concerning interpretation of compensation practices and guidelines.Education Qualifications:
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
Required Experience:
The hiring team is open to candidates with varying levels of experience. Level is based years of experience, skill set, and expertise as it relates to the role.
Senior Compensation Analyst:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Human Resources, Compensation or a related capacity required.
- Demonstrated expertise in Compensation and/or Human Resources required.
Compensation Analyst II:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Human Resources, Compensation or a related capacity required.
Remote Nature:
- This position is a fully remote role, however, the hiring team has a preference for candidates within our service areas (Minnesota, North Dakota, Wisconsin)
