Job Description:

Leads and directs the functions of Facilities, Maintenance, Real Estate Management, and Environmental Services for assigned facilities. Responsibilities include infrastructure and utility management, human resource management, facility planning, space allocation, construction and remodeling, regulatory compliance, and financial oversight. Activities will be conducted in a manner that is consistent with the Essentia Health mission and will contribute toward the overall organizational priorities and objectives. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.

Work Experience:
Minimum of five years previous experience in facilities maintenance.

Education Qualifications:

Associate degree in facilities maintenance, mechanical or electrical engineering, management, or equivalent field of study.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

Certification/Licensure Requirements:

  • Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager (CHFM) Certification within 2 years of hire or transfer or when eligibility is met for testing
  • Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA 2.0) Certified required within 1 year of hire or transfer
