Participates, under the supervision of the clinical supervisor(s), in the provision of services and attainment of learning objectives as defined by the aims of the Psychology Internship Program at Essentia Health (PIPEH). Participates as part of the team in the outpatient and partial hospitalization settings. Attains the competencies required for entering the workforce as a Health Service Psychologist.Education Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
- Progresses toward individual and program goals
- Provides high-quality services including psychotherapy and psychological evaluations
- Builds effective relationships with patients, supervisors, and colleagues
- Develops a professional identity as a Health Service Psychologist
Required Qualifications:
- Application through the APPIC Match or through the Post-Match Vacancy Service
- Doctoral student in clinical or counseling psychology in a program accredited by the American Psychological Association or the Canadian Psychological Association, or in a program with similar academic goals and standards
