Think your creativity could add to our content marketing team’s efforts and continue to drive financial innovation throughout Europe?

One of the biggest growth efforts we’re shooting for this year in the Content Marketing team is to solidify our brand across European markets. This requires the ideation, creation and distribution of engaging and unique content, and we’re looking for someone who can slot into a high-performing content marketing team and keep the content engine chugging!

You’ll be working with a team of content creators, and reporting directly to our Content Marketing Lead. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality and branded content based on the incoming tasks assigned to you. Based on the briefing, you may also be responsible for managing the localisation of global content into our local markets. This also includes repurposing and optimising of existing content.

The person who fills this role must be proactive, organised and able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. And of course, have some serious writing chops.

Please note: This role is a 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract.

Things you’ll be doing

  • Report to the Content Marketing Lead on day-to-day execution tasks, and support the Head of Brand and Content Marketing on more global content marketing initiatives
  • Support different teams across the business, from Field marketing to Demand Gen to Product marketing by creating and delivering content that can be used to drive pipeline and build brand awareness
  • Working closely with our in-house Brand Design team to bring your words to life through visualisation
  • Manage the content agency on specific deliverables
  • Reviewing and editing different smaller content requests that the team receives daily

You…

  • Have experience in content creation in B2B/fintech or SaaS either start-up, scale-up or agency side, or both
  • Have experience creating different types of content, from blog posts to social media posts, ad copy, emails and video scripts
  • Have experience working closely with in-house or external Design teams
  • You have experience in working from a global content calendar and managing the translation and localisation of English content into other languages
  • Have experience with or are eager to learn more about AI tooling for copy production

Your colleagues say that you

  • Have the perfect mix of creativity and time management
  • You can work from a creative brief, and can recognise when additional context may be required to complete the task
  • Are a great collaborator and team player
  • Are an effective storyteller, written and verbal

Show me the benefits!

  • Your own Pleo card (no more out-of-pocket spending!)
  • Lunch is on us - with catering in our Lisbon, Copenhagen and London offices or a monthly lunch allowance paid directly together with your salary in other markets 🍜

Why join us?

Working at Pleo means you're working on something very exciting: the future of work. Our mission is to help every company go beyond the books. Pleo itself means ‘more than you’d expect’, and it’s been the secret to our success over the last 8 years. So it’s only fitting that we’d pass this philosophy onto our customers to help them make the most of their finances.

We think company spending should be delegated to all employees and teams, that it should be as automated as possible, and that it should drive a culture of responsible spending. Finance teams shouldn’t be siloed from the rest of the organisation – they should work in unity with marketing, sales, IT and everyone else.

Speaking of working in unity, our values tell the story of how we work at Pleo. We have four core values, the first of which is ‘champion the customer’, which means we address real pain points that businesses face. Next up is ‘succeed as a team’, which highlights how our strength lies in our diversity and trust in each other. We also ‘make it happen’ by taking bold decisions and following through to deliver results. Last but not least, we ‘build to scale’, creating lasting solutions that address today’s challenges and anticipate tomorrow’s needs.

So, in a nutshell, that's Pleo. Today we are a 850+ team, from over 100 nations, sitting in our Copenhagen HQ, London, Stockholm, Berlin, Madrid, Montreal and Lisbon offices —and quite a few full-time remotes in 35 other countries! Being HQ'd out of Copenhagen means we're inspired by things like a good work-life balance. If you don't work in the office with us, we'll help you set up the best remote setup possible and make sure you still have time to connect with your team.
