Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer:

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who is passionate about helping teams build applications that scale. Responsibilities will include building tools and automation to eliminate manual operations and develop repeatable processes. This will help maintain highly available server infrastructure for deploying instances, applying operating system updates, managing configuration changes, and system tuning. This candidate will have experience with both application and infrastructure. The candidate will participate in assessing existing platforms, designing future state, and driving migration of applications and infrastructure to highly resilient environments.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build, design, deploy, maintain and lead the implementation of Cloud solutions across multiple cloud offerings, e.g. Rackspace, AWS and Google Cloud
  • Participate in technology evaluation to support strategy-definition and continuous process improvement activities
  • Help implement the technology direction, vision, and strategy to enable Cloud technology adoption
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain automation of cloud enablement tools
  • Act as project lead around further software-defined services and offerings
  • Perform ongoing performance tuning, upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
  • Participate in the design, implementation and management of workload automation initiatives

What You’ll Need:

  • 7+ years of experience as an enterprise systems administrator in a client or server environment, including deployment automation tools, such as Ansible
  • Extensive knowledge of Linux-based systems, including Hardware, software, networking and storage
  • Experience architecting cloud infrastructures on Amazon Web Services (AWS) for small, medium scale and enterprise-level applications
  • Experience with DevOps procedures and processes and with working in an Agile environment
  • Agile enthusiast who understands methodologies and enjoys being part of an agile team
  • eCom experience
  • Experience in SalesForce Commerce Cloud environment or similar environment a plus
