About the Role:

Remitly's privacy program is a key strategic function and our moral imperative. This is a Director level role leading a cross functional program area of critical importance to our customers and our business. This role reports to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

You Will:

  • Inspire, energize, and engineer a culture of privacy excellence

  • Establish Remitly as a leader in consumer privacy and exceed regulatory requirements

  • Define the Privacy Program with measurable outcomes, and hold accountability across aligned partner teams

  • Directly manage the Privacy Engineering team's Engineering Manager

You Have:

  • 5 years of experience in Privacy and related roles

  • A demonstrated ability to lead across aligned partner teams and achieve results through others

  • An understanding of product, technology, and regulations related to privacy

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $190,000-$250,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
