About the Role:

This Business Delivery Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Business Delivery Manager in the ongoing development and effective management of the company’s (Remitly Europe Ltd ‘REL’) Outsourcing Framework. Your expertise will contribute to the smooth functioning of various operational aspects within REL to deliver services to our customers. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure efficiency, compliance, and exceptional service delivery. This role requires a deep understanding of both fintech operations and outsourcing dynamics along with the ability to deep dive into data and performance metrics to identify trends and emerging risks.This is especially important where the activities being outsourced are technical and/or complex in nature.

You will:

  • Collect and analyze data related to outsourced activities across all areas as specified in the outsource register; operations, IT, FInance HR preparing comprehensive reports and dashboards for management, stakeholders and various committees and the REL Board.

  • Act as a point of contact for issue resolution, working closely with vendors to address challenges promptly and effectively.

  • Analyze current processes, identify inefficiencies, and design streamlined workflows that align with industry best practices.

  • Have a full understanding of the CBIs and EBA Outsourcing guidance and how they apply to a regulated firm.

  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in both fintech and outsourcing domains.

  • Have an understanding of REL’s risk management process and are able to identify key outsourcing risks.

  • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment of objectives.

You have:

  • A passion to do the right thing for the customer

  • Proven experience in business analysis, operational risk or a related role within the fintech or financial services industry.

  • Strong understanding of outsourcing dynamics, regulatory guidance and risk management in the financial services sector.

  • Proficiency in project management tools, data analysis tools, and collaboration software.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective vendor communication and internal collaboration.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for process improvement.
