About the Role:

We are looking for a Content Designer to join our team and contribute to our mission of enhancing the lives of immigrants and their families by offering the most reliable financial services globally. You will report to the Senior Manager, Product Design for the Core Experience team.

In this role, you will approach design from a linguistic perspective. Your responsibilities will encompass designing and implementing product flows, in-product language, content frameworks, navigation structures, product nomenclature, and more.

As an important member of the Core Experience team, you will help shape the content vision. This will involve building relationships with partners, such as Product Management, Product Design, Brand and Marketing, Engineering, and Localization teams. By doing so, you will help create consistent product narratives across various platforms and touchpoints.

You Will:

• Design, write, edit, and test clear, compelling in-product language to help users and teams meet their goals

• Participate in design critiques to lead consistency and improve content quality.

• Document and maintain evolving content, brand, and voice/tone standards.

• Partner with other content designers, product designers, researchers, product managers, analysts, and engineers to understand customer needs, define requirements, and align on business goals

• Apply systems thinking to the product, whether it’s defining extensible design system guidance, conducting audits of existing experiences or creating information architecture.

You Have:

• Minimum of 3 years of content design or relevant UX writing experience

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Technical Writing, UX, HCI, or equivalent practical experience

• Must have a writing portfolio including, but not limited to: user interface copy, microcopy, user education. (please include the PW on your resume if your portfolio is PW protected)

• Experience designing and shipping end-to-end products with complicated flows, multiple scenarios, and edge cases.

• Experience in simplifying and communicating complex ideas to broad audiences in a compelling way.

• Experience using Figma.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $88,240-$100,854 In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
