About the Role:

As a Senior Paid Partnership Marketing Manager, you will develop and execute strategic paid partnership programs and sponsorships, with organizations, influencers and affiliates, to achieve growth and brand awareness for Remitly. Reporting to the Director of Paid Media, on the Growth team, you will work across marketing, sales and external partners to develop successful partnerships that align with our goals and values.

You Will:

  • Partnership Strategy: Develop a comprehensive partnership marketing strategy that includes community marketing, event activations, sponsorships, influencer partnerships and brand partnership marketing programs, aligning with our overall goals.

  • Cross-Functional Relationship Management: Identify, build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential organizations, influencers, and community ambassadors that have the potential to drive revenue, expand market reach, and enhance brand visibility.

    • Manage all levels of our sponsorships program from LAFC to grassroots events, while building business cases for future sponsorships.

    • Oversee our community marketing program and marketing events across the United States and Canada.

    • Oversee the influencer marketing program, ensuring we are building a program that delivers against goals and aligning with the Brand.

    • Establishes and nurtures strategic paid partnerships with key community organizations and businesses to deliver impactful collaborations.

  • Campaign Collaboration: Work with other teams (Brand, Creative, Business Development, etc.) to jointly plan and implement impactful partnership campaigns; integrating into broader marketing campaigns and business strategies.

  • Performance Analysis: Monitor, and report on the effectiveness of partnership programs, using data-driven and qualitative insights to improve strategies.

  • Budget Management: Manage the multi-million dollar partnership marketing budget, allocating resources across sponsorships, events, influencers, and community ambassadors.

  • Negotiations: Lead negotiation discussions with partners, influencers, and community ambassadors to establish terms, agreement, and mutual expectations for successful collaboration.

  • Team Management: Manage the partnership marketing team, providing guidance through program execution and nurturing their professional development.

You Have

  • 8+ years of experience in paid partnership marketing with a strong focus on sponsorships, events, and community marketing, influencers a bonus.

  • A proven track record of successfully identifying, developing, and executing strategic marketing partnerships, sponsorships and grassroots initiatives that drove business growth.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, campaign management, and data analysis.

  • Proficiency in using marketing tools and analytics platforms.

  • Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

  • Strategic and creative capabilities to generate innovative marketing partnership programs.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $130,000 - $150,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
