About the Role:
The Consolidations Manager will report to the VP or Director of Accounting, TBD, and will oversee the consolidation process of our global accounting organization, including maintaining the consolidation system and the completeness and accuracy of reporting from multiple entities and countries. The job will ideally be based in Seattle and a hybrid remote/office role. #LI-Hybrid
You Will:

The core tasks, duties, and responsibilities that must be performed on the job.
Prepare the GAAP consolidated financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow)
Assist coordinating and enhancing the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and global consolidation process
Prepare month-end commentary on actual results, including preparing the MD&A on a quarterly basis for the SEC quarterly and year-end filings
Coordinate and help prepare the monthly balance sheet and income statement flux analysis
Build out supplemental schedules that support balance sheet and income statement FSLI fluctuation analysis
Continually develop, expand and improve month-end close and help drive the reduction of the close timeline by assessing and streamlining close-related activities
Maintain our Chart of Accounts
Introduce efficiencies into the consolidation process as entities are added
Support acquisition and integration activities, including developing integrating and optimizing the consolidation process
Support the year-end financial statement audit
You Have:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
5+ years’ experience in financial consolidation processes
CPA Preferred
Knowledge of Workiva and Netsuite, a plus
Advanced knowledge of financial accounting / reporting with a balance of external reporting and operational analysis
Experience with consolidation of multi-entity organization required
Experience at an international entity preferred
Experience preparing cash flow statements for an international entity preferred

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $100,000-$120,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
