About the Role:

The Content Management Systems squad works on accelerating growth for Remitly by building a platform for content publishing and localization at scale. The team owns the technology backend and internal tooling that enables content management and integration with our localization systems. You'll work with design, product management, marketing, and other engineering teams to solve for low-touch management of content and ensure consistent messaging across different customer experience touch points. You'll report to the Engineering Manager, Content Management Systems.

This role will be located in Seattle.

You Will:

  • Build and shape the technology stack that powers our content management system to deliver scalable SEO-focused content.

  • Build platforms that use techniques like experimentation and data-driven decision automation to empower content management at scale.

  • Will deliver well-tested, observable, documented, efficient, scalable, and resilient solutions.

  • Will participate in interviewing, code reviewing, mentoring, and ramping new hires.

  • Will partner with PMs to break down tasks, provide estimates, and discuss tradeoffs

  • Collaborate directly with your customers (marketing team, application teams) within Remitly to develop products and features that help drive content, localization, and experimentation at scale.

  • Mentor and grow other engineers.

  • Define and deploy technical best practices across a team.

You Have:

  • A BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

  • 5+ years of experience as a software developer.

  • An understanding of software development best practices and software design patterns.

  • Expertise working full stack with one or more general-purpose programming languages including JavaScript/TypeScript, Kotlin, and Go.

Compensation Details: The starting base salary range for this position is typically $159,090 - $189,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
