About the Role:

The App Experience organization focuses on core experiences within the Remitly application as well as the tooling and platforms that support them. In this role, you will be primarily working on evolving our mobile gateways through the adoption of GraphQL. We're looking for someone who's enthusiastic about driving innovation, optimizing performance, and enhancing the overall user experience, ensuring our APIs are at the forefront of technology.

You Will:

• GraphQL API Development: Your primary responsibility will be designing, building, and maintaining GraphQL APIs that empower our mobile applications. You will be instrumental in crafting APIs that are efficient, adaptable, and well-suited for our evolving needs.

• Performance Optimization: Take the lead in monitoring and fine-tuning API performance. Your efforts will be geared towards achieving low latency and seamless data retrieval, ultimately enhancing the end-user experience.

• Documentation: Create comprehensive API documentation that fosters an in-depth understanding among both internal and external developers.

• Security and Authentication: Implement security measures, including authentication and authorization mechanisms, to safeguard sensitive data and maintain compliance with industry standards.

• Collaboration: Engage in active collaboration with product and platform engineers to onboard new domains into our federated supergaph.

Compensation Details: The starting base salary range for this position is typically $116,710- $135,495. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
