We are looking for a leader of the Business Development Representative (BDR) team. You will report directly to our Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and your team will be responsible for creating new opportunities with prospective customers for our Sales team. Your team will work closely with Marketing and Sales to create sales opportunities through inbound follow up and outbound prospecting. This role will be located in Toronto with the need to be in office a minimum of 3 days a week.
What you'll do
- Create a high performance culture based on achievement and accountability
- Continuously inspire and coach a team of BDRs
- Consistently meet or exceed our pipeline goals
- Develop strategies for both outbound and inbound pipeline generation
- Help define and execute an account-based approach to pipeline generation and partner with Rev Ops and Marketing to develop and continuously refine our target account list
- Develop campaigns and plays that the BDR team can execute on a regular cadence
- Establish key metrics and dashboards to monitor the performance of the team
- Help grow each BDR and prepare them for the next stage of their careers
- Work closely with the head of demand gen, head of Rev Ops, the CMO and head of sales as a key member of our GTM team
What you'll bring
- 4+ years experience in selling technology on a quota
- 2+ years of management experience leading a team of BDRs
- Passion and curiosity about our market and business, along with a desire for lifelong learning
- A collaborative mindset- someone who enjoys working cross functionally to solve business challenges
- A track record of delivering against sales / opportunity targets
- Experience working with sales/BDR software tools
