Job Description: AI Solutions Manager, Business Architecture & Acceleration

Team: Business Architecture & Acceleration, AI Security

Location: Boston, San Francisco

*** Please note- candidate must sit in either Boston or San Francisco currently***

Experience Level: ~3 years experience

Role Overview

As the AI Solutions Analyst for Business Acceleration, you will be the technical engine powering AI adoption and workflow building in Snyk’s AI Security Business Unit.

Sitting within the Business Architecture & Acceleration team, your mission is to build and implement the technical foundations and automated workflows required to make our BU an AI-first organization.

This is a role for a high-agency "builder" with a computer science background who wants to bridge the gap between business objectives and technical execution—ensuring our data is ready, our workflows are automated, Snykers are enabled, and our operations move at maximum velocity.

Core Responsibilities

1. Technical AI Implementation & Prototyping

  • Workflow Engineering: Design and deploy automated AI workflows. You will build the "connective tissue" between our tools (Jira, Slack, Salesforce, internal APIs) using LLM orchestration, Python scripts, and modern automation frameworks.

  • Data Scaffolding: Work closely with data and engineering teams to ensure our internal operational data is structured for AI consumption (e.g., preparing datasets for RAG pipelines or maintaining vector stores for internal documentation).

  • Rapid Prototyping: Act as the primary builder for the Business Architecture and Acceleration team, creating functional Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for internal tools that solve specific operational bottlenecks.

2. Strategic Business Alignment

  • Objective Translation: Develop a deep understanding of the AI Security BU’s strategic goals. You will translate these business objectives into technical requirements, ensuring every automation you build directly contributes to our acceleration.

  • Process Auditing: Support the team in auditing internal business processes to identify friction points where AI-native solutions can provide significant improvements in speed or quality.

3. Human Enablement & Workflow Adoption

  • Human-in-the-Loop Design: Implement "Best Human Practices" for AI adoption. You will help define the interfaces where humans provide ground truth, feedback, and oversight to AI agents.

  • Operational Support: Interface with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, GTM) to help them transition to new AI-augmented workflows, providing technical support and guidance during the adoption phase.

  • Knowledge Management: Maintain "Golden Paths"—documentation, prompt libraries, and training materials—to ensure consistent and effective AI usage across the BU.

Qualifications & Skills

The Technical Requirements

  • Education: BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a highly technical quantitative field.

  • Experience: ~3 years of professional experience in technical operations, software development, or systems integration.

  • Technical Curiosity: Demonstrated experience building with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic), building skills and workflows with Claude Code / Claude Cowork or experimentation with orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex).

  • Systems Fluency: Strong understanding of data structures, API architecture, and the flow of information within a SaaS enterprise. Comfortable writing Python and working with automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Make, or custom scripts).

The Professional Requirements

  • Business IQ: The ability to understand "why" we are building something. You are motivated by seeing how a technical solution moves a business KPI.

  • Communication: Ability to explain technical implementations to non-technical stakeholders and listen to business needs to inform your builds.

  • High Agency: You are a "maker" who thrives on solving puzzles with limited supervision. You are comfortable with ambiguity and rapid iteration.

  • Security Minded: An inherent understanding of data privacy and security—essential for building internal tools within a security company like Snyk.

We care deeply about the warm, inclusive environment we’ve created and we value diversity – we welcome applications from those typically underrepresented in tech. If you like the sound of this role but are not totally sure whether you’re the right person, do apply anyway!
