What's The Job?

We are building Palette, our Kubernetes management platform designed for technical practitioners—platform teams, DevOps, and system administrators. You’ll dive deep into their challenges, understand their workflows, and translate those insights into impactful features that help them manage Kubernetes at scale—without the pain.

This means you need to be technical, speak their language, and be hands-on with Kubernetes, so you can shape the features that will make the biggest difference.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive the evolution of our core platform and ecosystem. You will be responsible for Palette’s operational readiness, scalability, and extensibility, covering areas such as operational continuity, access controls, security auditing, licensing & usage insights, and more.

Additionally, you will own our content strategy, expanding our integrations and Kubernetes pack ecosystem to maximize value for users.

You’ll be part of a tight-knit, fun, and driven product and engineering team, bringing your product management expertise and Kubernetes technical skills to shape the future of Spectro Cloud. We work as a team, and we are overall responsible for the Spectro Cloud product offerings. Amongst other things, you will help us drive:

• Roadmapping and product strategy
• User stories & persona definitions
• Feature discovery and definitions
• Feature delivery, descriptions, demos, etc.
• Field updates and training activities
• Competitive analysis
• Product management and engineering process improvements
• User experience
• Assist with sales and marketing collaterals

📍 Location: This is a full-time position based in our headquarters in San Jose, California, following a hybrid work model.

About You

You LOVE technology because you’re curious, and you thrive building amazing products that are a joy to use, even with complex technologies such as Kubernetes.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A computer science or engineering background.
• Product management experience with infrastructure or cloud-native products..
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and surrounding technologies (CNIs, CSIs, cloud providers, virtualization, etc.).
  
• Kubernetes certification (CKA or CKAD) is a plus.
• A customer and stakeholder-first mindset.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
• Technical curiosity and a willingness to get hands dirty when needed.
• Excellent presentation skills to clearly articulate ideas.
• A proven ability to build and evolve product and engineering processes.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Comfort stepping in and covering for others when needed.

The Hiring Process

• Culture/Team Interview - A discussion on teamwork, values, and culture fit.
