The Opportunity
We’re hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) in Tampa, FL — this is not a remote position. You’ll be in the office Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with flexibility to work from home Tuesday and Friday.
This is a hunter role with real teeth — 90% cold outbound, 10% warm leads. You’ll be the first point of contact for execs at cutting-edge companies and public sector organizations looking to solve big Kubernetes challenges. And yes, we value hustle, but we also arm you with world-class tools to be smart, not just busy.
What You’ll Do
- Drive top-of-funnel activity through personalized, strategic outreach
- Leverage tools like Salesforce, Sales Navigator, Dripify, Onfire.ai, Qualified, ZoomInfo to execute, automate, and optimize your outreach
- Craft creative campaigns in partnership with marketing
- Work across time zones to hit federal, public sector, and commercial markets
- Attend industry events to build pipeline and represent the Spectro Cloud brand
- Make 100+ dials per day and hit your monthly meeting quota
- Provide feedback from the field to marketing and product teams
Who You Are
- You’ve been in the SDR trenches and consistently hit or exceeded quota — ideally in SaaS or infrastructure tech
- You’re laser-focused on results, coachable, and energized by cold outreach
- You can juggle accounts across industries and time zones without missing a beat
- You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and aren’t afraid to test, learn, and iterate
- Experience with federal or public sector clients is a plus
- Based in Tampa or willing to relocate (this is not a remote position)
Bonus Points
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes, cloud-native tech, or infrastructure software
- Prior experience using the tools we love (Salesloft, Salesforce, etc.)
- Track record of creative prospecting approaches (video, personalization, etc.)
