Deal Desk Specialist
Be the Deal Desk expert who turns complex SaaS deals into fast, compliant closes — scale CPQ, approvals, and policy rigor across a growing RevOps team.
We are seeking a skilled Deal Desk Specialist to join our Revenue Operations team. This role will own the end-to-end deal desk function as we transition from manual approvals to Salesforce-native workflows and scalable CPQ processes. The deal desk specialist will serve as the primary operator and subject-matter expert for quoting, approvals, and deal mechanics, balancing deal velocity with policy rigor while supporting Sales with complex and non-standard deal structures.
In this role, you will generate and modify quotes and order forms, manage approval SLAs, and continuously refine deal-closure and quote-approval processes. You will interpret our bookings policy, price book, and GTM strategy to establish a robust deal desk function, ensuring consistency in customer deliverables and adherence to company policies. Leveraging tools like Salesbricks (CPQ) and Salesforce (SFDC) you will drive best-practice improvements and partner cross-functionally to increase predictability and scale. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys building structure, automation, and predictability in a growing SaaS GTM environment – someone who can challenge the status quo, organize agreements, define entitlements, and collaborate across teams to foster predictability and rigor.
Key Responsibilities
Generate, modify, and manage quotes and order forms using Salesbricks CPQ and Salesforce (SFDC), ensuring accuracy, compliance with bookings policies, and alignment with price books and GTM strategies.
Own the deal desk approval workflow and SLAs, including request intake in Salesforce, tracking, defining escalation paths, and continuous workflow refinement to accelerate deal closure while maintaining policy protections.
Interpret and apply company policies to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes for customers and prospects, including organizing existing agreements and defining open customer entitlements, and advising on non-standard deal structures..
Continuously evaluate and improve existing deal desk processes, introducing best practices for automation opportunities and system enhancements to increase scalability, predictability, and efficiency in a rapidly growing organization.
Partner closely with Sales, Legal, Finance, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations teams, acting as a trusted advisor on deal structures, resolving escalations, and translating business needs into system and process improvements.
Skills Needed
Required:
Proven expertise owning Deal Desk functions within a B2B SaaS environment, including quote generation, order management, and approval workflows.
Strong hands-on experience with CPQ tools (e.g., Salesbricks or similar) and Salesforce, with the ability to design, optimize, and scale approval processes and quoting workflows.
Deep understanding of bookings policies, price books, and GTM strategies, with a track record of interpreting and applying them to ensure compliance, consistency and deal velocity.
Demonstrated ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, scaling organization – challenging the status quo, refining processes from first principles, and managing approval SLAs.
Excellent organizational and communication skills for managing agreements and entitlements, coupled with strong cross-functional partnership abilities (Sales, Legal, Finance, etc.).
Preferred:
Experience implementing or improving deal desk automation, including CPQ rules, Salesforce workflows, approval logic and system integrations.
Experience in revenue recognition, contract management, and legal/finance collaboration in SaaS.
Compensation:
The expected annual compensation range for this role is $120,000 – $140,000 USD base plus 15% Variable Bonus. This compensation range applies to candidates based in the United States (Central Time Zone).
Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on role scope, relevant experience, skills, and internal equity. Compensation details are subject to applicable employment laws and company policies.
