Working hours will typically be 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm; Monday - Friday with occasional weekends

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the warehouse's shipping, receiving, and logistics operations. The primary goal is to ensure the efficient, accurate, and timely movement of goods in and out of the warehouse, supporting the organization's supply chain and customer service objectives. This role involves supervising a team of Materials Handlers as well as a Team of CDL Drivers, maintaining accuracy, and optimizing warehouse processes to enhance productivity, safety, and cost-effectiveness. The supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring that the warehouse operations align with the overall business strategy. This position will manage internal and external shipments of raw materials and finished goods. This position organizes and monitors the maintenance of company vehicles. They will work with various departments such as Scheduling, Production, QA, Inventory Control to ensure product is being moved properly throughout our processes. This role is also responsible for ensuring staff compliance with company Good Manufacturing Practices as well as managing Paid Time Off, and Vacation requests.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of shipping and receiving, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and shipped in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate responsibilities of the CDL drivers and their load movements between buildings and to and from vendors and warehouses.
  • Lead, train, and manage warehouse staff, including shipping & receiving clerks, and material handlers.
  • Keeps and maintains the QA Trailer Sanitation log as well as DVIR logs for CDL Drivers
  • Maintains driver scheduling app. Schedules drivers for loads to 3PLs.
  • Helps to maintain fleet of trucks and trailers for service and repair.
  • Works with Scheduling and the Shipping Coordinator on co-man product delivery
  • Ensure that all warehouse operations comply with company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Investigates safety issues; participates in process to identify solutions; and takes necessary actions to ensure proper resolution of the problem.
  • Escalates issues to Management when solutions or answers cannot be found.
  • Ensures all team members are properly trained on all production equipment, Warehouse and Inventory Management systems, safety practices, and quality processes.
  • Provides leadership to team, communicates job expectations; monitors and evaluates performance; coaches, counsels, and disciplines employees; enforces policies and procedures.
  • Assists HR, Training and Production leaders with identification and development for bench strength to promote employee engagement and maintain a positive plant culture.
  • Participates in continuous improvement projects to solicit buy-in from plant staff, promote project objectives, and help to drive change management.

Position Qualifications

Skills & Abilities

  • Associate’s degree
  • 2+ years’ supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 2+ years experience in warehouse environment
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
