\nThe successful candidate will be our first Ireland-based TPM - you’ll be setting the tone and raising the bar for the TPM discipline at Udemy in Ireland!
\nThis role will be focused on several of the company’s top priorities, initially our badging and credentialing program and expanding to our Udemy Business platform. These are high visibility projects that will impact millions of customers around the world and will be front and centre to delivering on our mission.
\n\nWhat you'll be doing:\n
\n- \n
- Manage operations of time-bound and/or continuous programs including project scoping, schedule, risk mitigation plans, resource planning, and trade-offs \n
- Balance the delivery of large, high impact, highly cross-functional initiatives and a set of smaller projects \n
- Partner with senior business, product, design, and engineering teams to develop program plans, including roadmaps, cross-team prioritization, and resourcing plans \n
- Communicate clearly and effectively to management on the plans, status, and critical issues. Escalate urgent issues appropriately and driving them to closure in a timely manner \n
- Continuously improve delivery and organization. Establish and drive adoption of program frameworks, tools and best practices. Impart your program management knowledge with the teams. Run post-launch retrospectives for continuous improvement. \n
- Shape the best practices, standards, tools, and processes adopted by TPMs \n
- Infuse our three TPM tenets in everything you do: a high bias for action, stress and exhibit high ownership, and strive to eliminate ambiguity \n
What you'll have:

- Bachelor's Degree preferably in a technical field such as computer science, engineering, or information systems \n
- A strong self-starter mindset with exceptional judgment \n

- 7+ years of relevant work experience as a technical program manager in software development organizations enabled by mature program management practices \n
