About this role 

\n

As a Senior Product Manager on our Instructor Team, you will oversee the product strategy to help thousands of instructors create and manage their courses on Udemy, Udemy for Business, and Udemy for Government. Our instructors are passionate, creative entrepreneurs who want to share their expertise with the world. Your mission will be to enable them to create high quality content and support their students throughout the learning journey through new features, tools, and dashboards.

What you'll be doing:

    \n
  • Lead the strategy, prioritization, and execution of initiatives for key aspects of our Instructor Experience
  • \n
  • Build an in-depth understanding and empathy for our instructors, students, and enterprise customers
  • \n
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to deliver successful products and features
  • \n
  • Communicate ideas, decisions, and results effectively to bring people along at all levels of the company and across different functions
  • \n
\n

What you’ll have:

    \n
  • Have 4 or more years of Product Management experience building user facing features for web or native mobile applications
  • \n
  • Have experience collaborating closely with designers and user researchers to develop and iterate on solutions to user problems
  • \n
  • Are passionate about the education space and the problems we are solving
  • \n
  • Have great attention to detail but base your strategy on the big picture objectives
  • \n
  • Employ a highly-collaborative and low-ego approach that brings diverse stakeholders together
  • \n
  • Effectively communicate progress to leadership and stakeholders 
  • \n
  • Know how to leverage agile development methodologies and tools
  • \n
  • Are comfortable collaborating with local and remote Product and Engineering teams (San Francisco and Dublin)
