Job Description

As a Raw Material Supply Planner, you will drive materials supply end-to-end excellence in partnership with our finished good vendors, raw materials mills, and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for all raw material supply aspects including but not limited to raw material capacity planning, supply planning, forecast management, pre-production meeting, raw materials production deliveries and issue resolution.

This role is based in Taipei, and will report to our Director, Raw Material Planning based in HQ.

What you’ll get to do:

• Report and support the Raw Material Planning Director to manage raw material supply excellence.
• Ensure on time performance of our raw materials by partnering with raw materials mills and finished good vendors to deliver excellent raw materials to the right place, right time.
• Analyze and evaluate raw materials capacity and capability of raw materials mills to ensure they can deliver the right materials on time.
• Facilitate seasonal pre-production meetings with raw material mills and finish good vendors for raw material production preparation and ensure raw material supply readiness. Escalate any not buy ready or potential material supply issues as needed.
• Partner with finished good production, material development, color, quality teams to resolve materials supply and quality issues, ensuring impacts are mitigated and issues are resolved.
• Effectively analyzing all aspects of a problem, gathering necessary data, consulting others, making an informed decision, and communicating to the appropriate counterparts and cross-functional teams in a timely manner.
• Develop, implement and continuously refine raw materials supply management program.

Qualifications

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in textiles, business management or allied field.
• 5+ years relevant raw materials supply chain work experience.
• Strong knowledge and experience in apparel, footwear or accessories supply chain operation and materials manufacturing.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Comfortable engaging with both external partners and internal stakeholders and building strong partnerships.
• Effective problem solving and negotiation skills.
• Ability to maintain focus through ambiguity and changes.
• Project and time management skills; commitment to delivering results on time.
