Job Description

As a People & Culture Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing the HQ employee experience at Vuori. In this role, you will help drive people initiatives and provide comprehensive support across the employee lifecycle for our HQ and Otay employees, in the areas of talent management, team effectiveness and employee engagement. You will partner closely with HQ leadership to execute strategies in areas such as coaching & development, organizational effectiveness and employee relations.

What you’ll get to do:

P&C BP Leadership for Vuori HQ

  • Support the full funnel of HQ teams from Marketing and Product to Finance and Supply Chain.
  • Operate as a strategic advisor to business leaders, aligning HR strategies with organizational goals.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of HQ-related culture & talent initiatives that are aligned to our overall People & Culture strategy.
  • Manage routine to complex employee relations issues including conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations and recommending appropriate action to resolve the issues in a timely manner.
  • Partner with cross-functional P&C teams, (e.g. Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Total Rewards, etc.), contributing to the development of future initiatives and ensuring we maintain a continuous feedback loop pertaining to programs, process and communications.
  • Develop change management plans and manage stakeholders before and after changes take place.
  • Keep a pulse on the health of the HQ culture and proactively develop solutions that drive an effective culture and overall employee experience.
  • Help identify training needs for the business, partner in implementations, and participate in evaluation and monitoring of success.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with internal stakeholders such as legal, facilities, health & safety and security.

P&C BP Leadership for Otay Returns Facility

  • This role will also act as the key Business Partner for our Otay Warehouse, requiring weekly presence at our Otay facility in San Diego.
  • Develop strong relationships with the Otay leadership team and employees, addressing inquiries, resolving workplace concerns and identifying areas of enhancement and offering recommended actions.
  • Build P&C programs for our Otay facility, focused on labor management (inclusive of temps), career development, culture & employee engagement, and talent management.

Qualifications

Who you are:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Human Resources, People Operations, or related fields, preferably in a fast-paced, scaling organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent years of experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in high growth environment strongly preferred
  • Professional fluency in Spanish strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent problem solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to juggle and multi-task, with incredible attention to detail and follow through
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a focus on culture, employee engagement, and operational excellence
  • Travel required up to 25%. This role will be required to travel to Otay one time per week.

The salary range for this role is $93,400 per year - $120,120 per year.
