Sr. Manager, Operational Excellence
Vuori
Company Description
Vuori is re-defining what athletic apparel looks like: built to move and sweat in but designed with a casual aesthetic to transition into everyday life. We draw inspiration from an active coastal California lifestyle; an integration of fitness, creative expression and life. Our high energy fast paced retail environment is reflected in the clothes we make. We aim to inspire others to take on all aspects of their lives with clarity, enthusiasm and purpose…while having a lot of fun along the way. We are proud to be an outlet for opportunity and for personal growth and success.
Job Description
We’re looking for a highly driven, process-minded professional with an inventory control background to play a pivotal role in our global ERP rollout. In this role, you will partner across Supply Chain, Finance, Sales Operations, Production, Planning, Accounting and other functions to design, document, and implement best-in-class processes that elevate accuracy, efficiency, and visibility across the business. You will act as the connective tissue between business teams and technology to ensure our ERP implementation unlocks meaningful operational improvement—not just a system replacement.
What you’ll get to do:
Process Design & Optimization
- Support end-to-end process mapping for all functions impacted by the ERP rollout.
- Conduct gap analyses to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
- Recommend process redesigns that align with operational best practices and future scalability.
- Ensure processes are standardized globally while supporting required regional variations.
ERP Implementation Support
- Translate business requirements into system requirements in partnership with IT and ERP consultants.
- Review functional specifications, participate in system configuration workshops, and validate solutions.
- Support data governance standards and help ensure high-quality data inputs for system success.
- Inform UAT (User Acceptance Testing) planning, scenario creation, and execution with business stakeholders.
Change Management & Training
- Develop process documentation, SOPs, and training materials for end users.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to ensure smooth adoption and confidence.
- Serve as an internal evangelist for process discipline and continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Facilitate decision-making across diverse teams to align on new workflows and ownership.
- Coordinate with project management to maintain timelines, risk mitigation plans, and status updates.
- Ensure business teams are prepared for each ERP phase (design, build, test, cutover, hypercare).
Continuous Improvement & KPIs
- Establish operational KPIs tied to the ERP transformation.
- Monitor post-go-live performance and lead targeted improvements.
- Build a culture of operational rigor, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Who you are:
- 8+ years of experience in inventory control, supply chain operations, finance, accounting or related disciplines.
- Deep understanding of inventory control principles, goods-movement workflows, supply chain processes, and financial implications.
- Experience supporting or leading ERP implementations (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose root causes, evaluate data, and create actionable insights.
- Proven track record implementing process improvements and operational controls across multi-channel or multi-market environments.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and influence skills—capable of aligning diverse teams around shared processes and standards
- A builder’s mindset with the ability to design scalable processes in fast-growth environments.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and shaping clarity where structure doesn’t yet exist.
