Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Apparel Quality Assurance Team Lead in North Vietnam (Hanoi). He/She will be a key member & regional role to oversee all Quality and technical activity in North Vietnam for Vuori Production base factory.

The ideal candidate must have sufficient knowledge of apparel manufacturing processing to ensure the compliance with Vuori Global Quality Standard in factory. As a QA team Lead of Apparel, you are responsible for both quality assurance and quality control of processes, work in progress (WIP), and final apparel products at garment factories to ensure finished Products are conformed with Vuori Apparel Quality standards. Leadership, communication, and attention to detail are must-have skills. You will report directly to the Quality Assurance Director, and assist the work in conjunction with Certified Factory Auditors (CFA).

What you’ll get to do:

  • Oversees factory manufacturing processes if it is conformed to Vuori quality requirements.
  • Conducts Quality improvement activity with factory CFA to ensure production quality are monitored.
  • Identify and align with Vuori QA Leader Team , factory QA team on quality manufacturing checkpoints for all styles.
  • Demonstrate correct processes through job training and illustrate benefits of maintaining proper process control.
  • Work with CFA for Final Inspections activity to ensure good bulk shipment based on Vuori Quality Standard.
  • Work with factory to set up Pre-Production meeting to ensures all style details are reviewed prior to bulk.
  • Work with factory to arrange daily TOP & Inline sampling activity and final inspection schedule and assist audit processing – Factory Certified Factory Auditor (“CFA”) team.
  • Proactively identify potential risk prior to bulk production and drive implementation of poke yoke methods to prevent poor quality output.
  • Regularly review monthly quality reports with Vendor Quality Management to align with performance and set Corrective Action plans as needed.
  • Work with CFA as team work and provide feedback to QA Director and factory management on CFA’s performance.
  • Serve as the main communication link between Vuori and factory management for assigned areas responsibility.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of relevant experience & skill set in apparel manufacturing process & production with QA experience.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, measuring, quality assurance.
  • Excellent communication skills, demonstrating effective listening skill, clear verbal and written communication.
  • Fluent in English and local language - ability to communicate clearly with other teams. Fluency in spoken and written Chinese is preferred as well.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Smartsheet
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust resulting in effective working relationships across the company. Proactive, enthusiasm and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
  • Willing to Travel both Domestically and Internationally.
