Job Description
As the Retention Specialist II at Vuori, you will support the execution and optimization of lifecycle marketing across email and SMS, helping build meaningful customer relationships and drive retention. This role is primarily focused on lifecycle execution, experimentation, and performance optimization, while also supporting loyalty-related initiatives as they intersect with lifecycle marketing and customer engagement.
You’ll collaborate closely with partners across Marketing, Creative, Technology, Analytics, Retail, and Merch Planning to deliver cohesive, on-brand, and performance-driven communications across owned channels. This role is a strong foundation for future growth in CRM and lifecycle marketing, offering hands-on experience in high-impact programs at a fast-growing brand.

What you’ll get to do:
Lifecycle Marketing (Primary Focus)
- Serve as a key member of the retention team, supporting the execution of lifecycle email and SMS campaigns that drive customer engagement and retention
- Execute lifecycle marketing tests (e.g., A/B testing, segmentation strategies, triggered journeys) to improve performance and deepen customer relationships
- Assist with QA, testing, and deployment of campaigns within CDP and ESP platforms
- Track and analyze performance metrics, providing reporting and insights to inform ongoing optimization
- Partner cross-functionally with creative, copy, site merchandising, and acquisition teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment
- Coordinate campaign assets, timelines, and workflows in partnership with creative and project management teams
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate execution of lifecycle initiatives
Loyalty Support
- Support loyalty initiatives as they relate to lifecycle marketing, including triggered communications, customer journeys, and testing tied to loyalty moments
- Partner closely with Loyalty leads to help operationalize loyalty-related lifecycle campaigns within email and SMS channels
- Assist in pulling performance insights and learnings from lifecycle campaigns that inform loyalty optimization and future strategy
Email & SMS Marketing
- Build and schedule email campaigns within the ESP
- Partner with creative on copy, asset coordination, and layout execution
- Pull post-send performance reports to identify trends and insights
- Draft and deploy SMS campaigns aligned with the marketing calendar and brand tone
- Monitor performance metrics and support ongoing optimization strategies
- Manage day-to-day workflows using project management tools (e.g., Asana) to ensure organized, timely execution
Qualifications
Who you are:
- 3+ years of experience in lifecycle, retention, CRM, or email/SMS marketing, ideally within eCommerce or retail
- Working knowledge of Klaviyo (or similar ESP) and SMS platforms
- Experience using project management tools such as Asana
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- High-level understanding of analytics, testing, and performance reporting
- Excellent written communication and proofreading skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Familiarity with Shopify or similar CMS platforms a plus

The salary range for this role is $70,000 per year - $80,000 per year.
