Job Description
As a People & Culture Generalist, you will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing the employee experience for our Taiwan Sourcing Office. The P&C Generalist will help drive our people initiatives and provide support across the employee lifecycle. This role will partner closely with the local leadership team, while acting as a liaison to our global P&C organization based in the U.S.
As we expand, you’ll help build the foundation of our local People & Culture function, developing programs and workforce plans. You’ll create scalable processes, ensure compliance with local legislation, and deliver a thoughtful, consistent employee experience aligned with Vuori’s values and culture.
As a collaborative, optimistic self-starter, you’ll adapt to global practices for local relevancy and impact and drive operational excellence as Vuori continues to grow in Taiwan. This position is ideal for someone who has a strong understanding of HR practices, employee relations, and is passionate about ensuring our Vuori brand and culture are present within every experience and program you create.
What you'll get to do:
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees, addressing inquiries and resolving any workplace concerns.
- Be a thought partner to team members and demonstrate success in assessing organizational health across our Taiwan Sourcing Office.
- Support the development and implementation of people initiatives that drive retention, support a positive workplace, and help our employees live extraordinary lives.
- Respond to and conduct intake for employee relations issues and team dynamic conversations.
- Collaborate with all levels of the organization to ensure company values are consistently embedded into the workplace culture.
- Play a key role in supporting and educating team members about policies and practices.
- Partner with cross functional P&C teams, e.g. Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation and Benefits, etc., to develop and launch P&C programs.
- Support in facilitating and leading our Taiwan onboarding program.
- Responsible for full-cycle event planning for employee events, learning initiatives, and other culturally relevant local events.
- Led full-cycle recruiting efforts in partnership with the U.S. HQ Talent Acquisition team.
- Support Talent Acquisition operations through administrative and coordination support with the U.S. HQ team.
- Manage general office admin duties as needed.
Qualifications
Who you are:
- 3+ years' experience in Human Resources, People Operations, or related fields, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth brand.
- Deep understanding of Taiwanese labor laws, cultural norms, and market dynamics.
- Strong communication skills in both Mandarin and English; comfortable navigating a matrixed global environment, with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Strong facilitation skills with the ability to deliver engaging training and learning programs.
- Demonstrated success in developing brand new programs.
- High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and integrity.
- Excellent problem solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload.
